EDT Automotive have been honoured as International Green World Ambassadors at a special ceremony at The Crystal, London Docklands – regarded as the most sustainable events venue in the UK. The recognition comes as a result of the environmental success of their EDT Automotive Project, which won a Green Apple Environment Award at Westminster palace last year.

As a result of the success, the Kent Based Company are having their winning paper published in The Green Book, the worlds only annual work of reference on environmentally friendly practice, distributed to environment professionals, universities and libraries around the world by the Green Organisation.

The award judges commented: “This company Co designed a machine that dramatically reduces the pollutant output from the exhaust. This can have reductions of up to 66% on petrol engines and 58% on diesel emissions. Customers also report fuel savings of up to 26% and it has been applied to 29,000 cars in the UK.”

The winning paper now goes forward for further judging and is entered into The Green World Awards for the Environment; the campaign to find the “greenest” organisation in the world.

This presentation takes place in Seoul, South Korea this October.
